Focus on Education
Unlike other studios, we teach new combinations in each class - every class is exploring new choreography and working new technical challenges. Students receive a more well rounded dance education in all genres of dance taught by top professionals in the industry. You can customize your own schedule or have our Directors customize a curriculum for you!
PROFESSIONAL STAFF
We have real professionals teaching our classes. From dancers and choreographers for Broadway Productions including Moulin Rouge, CATS, Footloose, Hamilton, Dear Evan Hansen and Wicked, New York City Ballet, Cincinnati Ballet members, dancers and choreographers for such artists as Mel B, Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, Justin Bieber, Prince, Janet Jackson and more, our staff has real industry experience, so you'll receive the best education available in the area.
No Commitment
You can drop into any classes that work for your schedule - whether that's once a week, once a month, or even once a year. You do not have to commit to a specific class or program. Buy just a single class, or a class card or buy a Monthly Unlimited card which is good for any class on our schedule.

meet our artistic directors
Meet Missy Lay-Zimmer and Andrew Hubbard, the founders and Artistic Directors of Planet Dance Cincinnati and Exhale Dance Tribe. After spending a decade in NYC performing together in the Original Broadway production of CATS, Footloose, Jesus Christ Superstar and Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular, the duo relocated to Cincinnati. While Cincinnati had already started to establish a vibrant arts community, they recognized the need for a professional, "NY-style" studio that catered to adults, pre-professional and professional dancers, as well kids and teens. And... Planet Dance Cincinnati was born! The extra ordinary opportunities brought to our community through this dynamic duo are changing careers.

Planet Dance is also the home of Exhale Dance Tribe, a non-profit contemporary performance company based in Cincinnati's vibrant arts community. Founded by our PD Artistic Directors, the dance company gives pre-professional dancers the opportunity to train and perform at a professional level, helping to launch their dance careers. Many Planet Dance students have the opportunity to perform with the tribe as guest dancers, and go on to dance with The Tribe as a core member after graduating from high school.
